Who these courses are for

These courses are designed for adults who want to begin drawing or painting, return to creative practice, or build stronger foundations in observation and image-making. They suit people who want more structure, guidance and encouragement in a small-group setting, and those who feel creatively stuck and want a practical way back into making work.

What you will gain

By the end of the drawing and colour course, you should feel more confident drawing from observation and making decisions on the page, rather than simply copying what you see on a photograph.

By the end of the oil painting course, you will have taken an idea through research, composition and making, and produced work that feels more personal and considered. The wider aim is to help you understand the basics, feel more comfortable in a studio setting, and continue developing your work after the course.

Location

Workshops and short courses are planned in Glasgow. More details on venue, format and session structure will be shared when the first courses are confirmed.
